Nick Gerritsen
Nick Gerritsen is a Marlborough-based international knowledge broker and business start-up expert.
Nick specialises in commercialising New Zealand technology propositions from the ground up. He is currently engaged in projects in the renewable energy, software, carbon economy, healthcare and nanotechnology sectors.
He is a director of leading algae biodiesel developer Aquaflow Bionomic Corporation—along with Celsias and Vortex Technology Services—amongst others.
Nick is a founding member of the Marlborough Regional Development Trust (MRDT) which has led NZ’s regional approach to economic sustainability.
Nick graduated from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). During his legal career, he advised leading corporates on intellectual property and later enjoyed a string of successful business ventures.
